Rev. Christian Zebley, Interim Pastor
Our church has room for those who wish to experience Christ’s love and grow in faith. If you are interested in the ministry of our church, we are here to help you.

Our Interim Pastor and ministry leaders serve a church family whose vision is to touch lives in our community, offer the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, and minister to those in need.
Caring and commitment are hallmarks of our children and youth leaders. Through Bible study, fellowship, and service, they help our young people grow in faith and share Christ’s love.
Story Memorial is entering the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC).
On July 22, 1934, twenty Presbyterians living in West Marion gathered for worship at the West Marion Grade School under the leadership of the Rev. J. C. Story, who had just retired as pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Marion.
On December 16, 1934, the group was organized as the West Marion Presbyterian Church. The first part of the church building was completed in 1935.
In 1945, following the death of the Rev. J. C. Story, the church was renamed Story Memorial Presbyterian Church in his honor. During his ministry, he helped organize 21 churches.
In 1973, Story Memorial joined the newly organized denomination that became known as the Presbyterian Church in America. Today, the church is entering the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC).
We believe that worship is our highest calling. We come together according to God’s Word to rejoice in and celebrate our living God, to glorify Him, and to enjoy Him forever.
Our mission is to make disciples: “equipping the saints to do the work of the ministry to the building up of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12). We seek to proclaim Christ and share His grace.
We care deeply about others and seek to make a difference through the power of the Holy Spirit and our personal witness of Christ. Our mission reaches from our local community to the home and foreign missionaries we help support.
